Investor's Business Daily - The benchmark 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.16% this week, up from last week's 6.14%, which was the lowest level since late Dec., Freddie Mac said. Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages also rose 2 basis points, to 5.90%. The 1-year adjustable rate slid to 5.40% from last week's 5.42%. The rates do not includes add-on fees known as points.
